Struggles of the INFP

Like all the types, INFPs have their advantages and their disadvantages. But there are some characteristics that may be both good and bad. You can find those things below.

Innocent Perception:
+ INFP is one of the most innocent types. They use their kindness to make everyone happy and it's really hard to find someone who hates an INFP. Their Ne (see different perspectives), combined with Fi (see everything in a personal way), enables the INFP to see the bright side of everything and everyone. They can see the beauty behind the ugliness or better... the man behind the beast. They don't let stereotypes affect their way of seeing others. They don't even care about someone's looks. They automatically see what's on the inside.
- The INFP's innocent way of understanding the world, can be easily taken in advantage. They cannot see the hidden - negative motives behind a nice bahiviour. While someone is making fun of the INFP, the INFP may think that this person is funny and they just try to make everyone laugh. Or an INFP's boss may make the INFP work till late without getting more money, and the INFPs due to their kidness and innocence, will not stand up for their demands.

Hidden Abilities:
+ INFPs are reserved and introverted. That means there are parts of their character no one knows. For example an INFP may be very witty but due to their kind behaviour, it can be hard for others to see. Also, an INFP may have a talent in art, music, writting etc. As a result, when the INFP shows those abilities, others start paying more attention to them.
- INFPs are self-conscious and get easily hurt. By showing a secret part of them, others may tell them that they would never see the INFP in that way. Since INFPs have a vivid imagination, they will start over thinking. For example, if the INFP answers correct a hard question which needs logic, then others may start expressing their enthusiasm on the INFPs ''new'' ability to ''think logically'' and the INFP will start saying things like ''everyone believes I'm stupid'', or ''why do they look so surprised? Do they think I'm an idiot without logic?'' etc, etc.

Strong Morals:
+ INFPs have a very, VERY strong moral code of right and wrong. They always follow their inner values and they will not change for the sake of the greater good.
- Those values are very important to the INFP. If they understand that you are not okay with them, then they will do whatever they can, in order to make you change your beliefs. They can be really tiring and annoying when it comes to this subject.
