MBTI and intelligence
Many people claim that some types are kind of smarter than others. Well...
I tell you that this is not true. All types are clever and witty in different things and situations.
To begin with...
I/E
Introverts are smart because everything they do, they do it after personal thinking and self reflection. They spend a lot of time wandering and thinking by themselves very deep.
Extraverts are smart since they tend to communicate with a lot of people. They share interests with others and they want to learn as much as they can from the external world.
N/S
Intuitives are idealists and see the meaning behind everything. They do not limit their knowledge on the five senses. They have a vivid imagination and they see the big picture. They are spirit-people. We could say that most of nowadays inventions and beliefs, were created MAINLY (not wholly) by Intuitives (so the Sensors would not have something to work on if the Intuitives wouldn't invent things).
Sensors are practical. They see the world as it is so they are not deluded by big words. They see the tree and not the forest, because a forest is made from many individual trees. They are material-people. We could say that all those inventions and beliefs, were applied by Sensors because they are doers (so the Intuitives would not have their inventions applied if the Sensors wouldn't practice those inventions)
T/F
Thinkers are smart because the one thing that seperate us from the rest of the animals, is our ability to think logically and have comon sense. This is what Thinkers do when they have to make a decision.
On the other hand, something else that seperate us from the other animals, is our ability to understand emotions and be sympathetic to other people, something Feelers prefer to do when making decisions.
P/J
Perceivers are clever because they tend to adapt to their environment and have open options. They are spontaneous and quick-minded. If you don't believe me, let me tell you that John Nash from A Beautiful Mind, is a Perceiver (INTP).
Judgers are witty because they are talented at commanding/organising and making their environment adapt to THEIR behaviour. They are also very structured. If you don't believe me, let me tell you that Hermione from Harry Potter, is a Judger (ESTJ).
As you can see, all types can be clever and intelligent. They just do it differently. Have you ever heard of the nine types of intelligence? --> Kinds of Intelligence
After visiting the above link, you will understand that there are many different ways someone can be smart. For example:
ENFJ probably uses more the interpersonal intelligence (people smart), due to their dom Fe (understanding other peoples' feelings, way of thinking etc.).
INFJ uses more the existential intelligence due to their Ni dom function.
ESFP uses kinsesthetic intelligence. Their Se dom makes them ''body smart''..
etc, etc, etc...
So please stop thinking that some types are smarter than others. Everyone is smart in a defferent way.
Thinking in a different way from other's doesn't make you silly or other's more clever... ;)
See you guys ;)
