Extraverted or Introverted (E/I)

Extraverts:

  • Find pleasure experiencing the outer world
  • Comfortable around (many) people
  • Hard to get tired, even after long periods of high energy or social interaction
  • They easily move into action and try to make things happen
  • Quick thinkers and maybe think out loud


Introverts:

  • Enjoy spending time inside their heads
  • Comfortable when alone, or around people they know
  • Easily get tired after a specific time of socialization
  • Prefer just thinking or talking about things and have a hard time ''doing''
  • Need time to think or to form an answer, and listen before they talk

Sensing or iNtuition (S/N)

Sensors:

  • Trust the five senses. What they see/hear/smell/taste/touch
  • Experience speaks louder than words. They learn by hands-on work
  • Usually care about ''what is'' or ''was''
  • Easily rememer details, facts, events etc. (that are important to them)
  • See the practical use of things and are pragmatists. They stick to the things they know


Intutives:

  • Trust the sixth sense and their imagination
  • Work with words and symbols instead of experiece. They learn through theories and ideas
  • Seem to care about ''what could/might be'' or ''what will be'' etc
  • Notice changes and mostly remember the meaning of things or the impression they left to them and not the actual fact
  • Excited by ideas, possibilities, abstraction, future, new things and see the big picture

Thinking or Feeling  (T/F)

Thinkers:
  • Analyse pros and cons and make rational decisions
  • Fair and won't let personal or others' opinions to influence them
  • Easily notice flaws and incosistencies 
  • Seek logical explanations and offer solutions when someone has a problem
  • Mainly tell the bare truth because they think honesty is better than tact


Feelers:

  • Analyse people's feelings and take into acount what others want when making decisions
  • Subjective and usually take things personally
  • Notice the good side of people and things
  • Seek personal explanations and give emotional support to others when in a problem
  • Prefer to be kind, diplomatic and tell white lies in order to maintain harmony without hurting others' feelings

Judging or Percieving (J/P)

Judgers:
  • Like making decisions (or giving orders)
  • Need restrictions, rules and deadlines when working
  • Prefer to have everything under control and want to have things settled
  • May make dogmatic decisions because they hardly ever accept new information
  • Work in a methodical, serious and organised way

Percievers:
  • Have a hard time making decisions (or giving orders)
  • Need freedom and flexibility when working, cause instructions don't let them express themselves
  • Prefer having open options
  • They are open to new information and change their decisions easily
  • Work in a playful and spontaneous way

Now you should have a four-letter word like INTP, ESTJ, ENFP, ISFJ etc. This is probably your personality type.
